Covid-19

COVID-19

Here at ISU Stephen B. Marvin agency we are taking precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19 and to protect our community and those around us.

Although our hours are operating as normal (8am-5:30pm Monday - Friday; and closed daily from 12:30-1:30pm for lunch), we ask our clients to help us practice “social distancing” only to minimize germs and any risk of passing the COVID-19 virus.

We ask that you primarily contact us via phone or email and not come into the office.

Most of our agents are working from home but are more than happy to meet with our clients as needed. We are offering curbside assistance when available; if you need to see your agent please contact them to schedule an appointment. We will make necessary arrangements to protect you, your family and our agency; both the agent and our clients will be required to wear a mask.

We will not be taking cash payments at this time. We ask that those who have been making in-person cash payments, to please mail your payments in, pay online, or contact your insurance company directly to make the necessary payments due.

If your employment or income has been severely limited by the closure of your work or reduced hours, please contact us.

All our agents here are recommending and practicing safe and effective behaviors that can help avoid and/or eliminate passing the COVID-19 virus. We would like to recommend the same to you! Please see below how you can join us in participating in a conscientious effort to keep healthy, safe and calm.

How can YOU help make our community COVID-19 free?! Join our Agency as we practice the following:

Wear a mask!

Wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and warm water

Avoid touching your face; especially your eyes, nose and mouth

Cough and sneeze into your elbow

Avoid “panic-buying”; stores are being restocked

Be courteous of others; we are all in this together!

A word from the President of ISU Stephen B. Marvin:

We at ISU Stephen B. Marvin Insurance Agency would love to thank our first responders, nurses, doctors, healthcare workers and others who are working in the medical field. We want to extend gratitude for our grocery store clerks and staff who are tirelessly working as well. Last and certainly not least, OUR CLIENTS! Thank you for your patience and understanding as we endure this time together; we appreciate YOU!

Stay healthy my friends – Henry H. Marvin; President of ISU SBM
